Traditional Worship at First Lutheran
We have three traditional worship services at First Lutheran, all on Sunday mornings. We currently offer traditional worship at 8:00, 9:30 & 11:00 a.m. The services include traditional liturgy, including sung liturgy, holy communion, confession of sins, prayers of the people, apostle’s creed and passing of the peace. We worship using hymns accompanied by organ, choir and sometimes by piano, violin and cello as well as other instruments.
Children are welcome at all services. We do have a nursery for children under 5 staffed by professionals. We also have Sunday school that begins at 9:30 and concludes with the children coming into worship to have communion with their families.
Many people come to the traditional worship because it feels like the church of their youth, and they appreciate classical music styles. With a full choir and amazing organist our traditional service is vibrant and full of life and continues to be a blessing to more and more new people

Contemporary Worship at First Lutheran
We have two contemporary worship services. One on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. and one on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.(during the school year). These services both take place in the worship center on the second floor of the main building. Kids are welcome, dress is casual and coffee is encouraged!
Our contemporary services aim to make use of current worship music as well as key liturgical elements that have stood the test of time. We also have Holy Communion each Sunday, we confess sin and pass the peace- traditional elements of Lutheran worship.
What you won’t experience is any reference to culture wars or politics. You won’t find judgment or condemnation of people groups. Rather you will hear a message of God’s love for all people, a message that is true to the Bible and rooted in an ancient theology of grace.
