Easter Basket Project

Supporting the Department of Human Services by providing Easter Baskets for children in need within our community. 


Twice Upon A Time

This great ministry began in July 2012 and since that time 14,889 books have been distributed thanks to the generosity of First Lutheran’s members and friends.


COSILoveYou

Wants to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need; bringing love and restoration to our city through uniting our local churches and inspiring people to act. First Lutheran participates in COSILoveYou’s CityServe Day, a no-strings attached, city-wide day of service where “all are welcome to serve and be served.” Join as we serve schools, parks, local non-profit organizations, and neighborhoods, serving some of the most prominent needs in our city.


Family Promise/IHN

Helping homeless families into permanent housing and stability. 

 

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, community and hope. Apostles Build/Building homes for low-income families.


Lutheran Family Services (LFS)

Is the local Lutheran agency which works with unplanned pregnancy, foster care, adoption and refugee and resettlement services.       

         

Marian House Soup Kitchen

Provides a hot, nutritious meal to more than 700 members of our community per day, 365 days a year, relying on a strong cadre of volunteers to prepare and serve the meal.


Mission Medical Clinic

Provides medical care for uninsured in the Pikes Peak Region to include medical, dental, vision, behavior health, diabetic care, spiritual companionship and independent living programs.


MOSAIC

Advocates for people with intellectual disabilities and provides opportunities for them to enjoy a full life by supporting living space for the developmentally challenged.


Rainbow Trail Lutheran

The outdoor ministry for the Rocky Mountain Synod.


Care and Share Mobile Food Pantry

Once a month First Lutheran hosts the mobile food pantry providing groceries and fresh food to those in need. Volunteers are needed to help families load groceries and to restock shelves as they become empty.
