First Lutheran is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Manager to oversee our financial and administrative operations. Reporting to the Senior Pastor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records, managing payroll, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities. Responsibilities include:

  • Financial Oversight: Manage payroll, general ledger, income statements, and balance sheets. Monitor contributions and expenses.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process payments, communicate with donors and manage church credit cards.
  • Budgeting: Assist in developing the annual church budget and department budgets.
  • Human Resources: Ensure compliance with employment regulations and update personnel policies.
  • Property Management: Maintain and improve the facilities through the property manager and sextons.
