On February 1, 2026, First Lutheran Church launched the Inspire Faith Capital Campaign. Through the Inspire Faith capital campaign, we seek to raise 6.1 million dollars to expand the church narthex and gathering space, increase accessibility, update the finishes of the main level, and enhance our building so it may serve as a stronger tool for ministry for decades to come.
The Inspire Faith logo draws from the words of Matthew 5:14 to 16. An open book represents the Word of God as the source of light and life. From its center rises a flame, symbolizing the Holy Spirit and the call to live a faith that shines outward into the world. The design is intentionally asymmetrical. One page leans downward, reflecting how God reaches toward us through Jesus Christ. The opposite page lifts upward, representing our response to God in love, trust, and service.
The colors deepen this meaning. Red recalls the fire of Pentecost and the renewing work of the Spirit. Taupe reflects the grounding humility of Scripture. Blue speaks to steadfast faith and God’s constancy. Together these elements express the heart of the campaign. We are people rooted in the Word, ignited by the Spirit, and called to shine the light of Christ in our community.
