Summer Camp Volunteers Needed
Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains new Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator, Adalie Duncan, reached out to me this past week. They will be hosting a Summer Camp for some of their refugee children (ages 5-14) in early June. They are looking for volunteers to make it a great experience for the kids. Volunteers help with activities, games, teaching, and providing a fun, welcoming environment. It’s a great opportunity for individuals or small groups who enjoy working with kids and want to make a meaningful impact in a short amount of time. Summer Camp will be held June 1-2, June 8-11, and June 15-18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you think you might be interested in serving, Adalie would be happy to answer any questions you may have Adalie.duncan@lfsrm.org If you think your small group might be interested in serving together, Adalie would be happy to come to your next meeting to talk about what summer camp entails and more about Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains Refugee and Asylee Program in general.
