First Lutheran Church is seeking a part time Sexton to help care for and maintain our facilities. This position is 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Pay is $16.00 per hour and includes 5 personal days and 5 sick days. The Sexton works with the team to set up and tear down events, clean floors, carpets, bathrooms and surfaces, manage trash and snow removal, and help ensure the building meets safety and code requirements.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This role requires physical work, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility in serving the congregation and staff.
